The Music Collection is a collection of musicians using authentic instruments to play repertoire of Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn and their contemporaries that focuses around the fortepiano, an ancestor of the piano we know today.
The size of the ensemble varies according to the repertoire. They make the music of these great composers come alive, giving it a new perspective.
The Music Collection was founded by Susan Alexander-Max who is joined by world renowned musicians and leading players from the major orchestras to make this flexible and exciting ensemble.
